A clear policy for a game that collects no data.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Vocabug application for iOS and iPadOS, published by Rovshan Garayev (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

What Vocabug does not collect

• Vocabug does not create or require an account.
• It does not collect personal data through the app or transmit game data to our server.
• It contains no advertising, analytics or remote crash-reporting SDK.
• It does not collect advertising identifiers or track people across apps or websites.
• It does not sell or share in-app game data.

Game data stored on the device

Vocabug stores limited technical game data in local app storage:

• selected interface and learning languages;
• tutorial-completion and preference settings;
• completed levels and best star results;
• internal identifiers for words shown; and
• local learning statistics, including whether a word was recalled or missed and the time of recent practice.

This information is used only to continue the campaign, unlock levels, select future vocabulary and display learning progress. We do not receive or view it. Depending on your Apple device and backup settings, local app data may be included in a backup managed by Apple. We do not receive access to that backup.

Answers built from fruit pieces

Portal answers are checked entirely on the device. On iPhone and iPad, answers are reconstructed by tapping the fruit pieces collected during the puzzle. Vocabug does not send the answer to a server and does not permanently store the exact answer text. It may store only the correct or incorrect outcome as part of the local learning statistics described above. Desktop builds may additionally accept physical-keyboard input.

Permissions and network access

The current version does not request access to contacts, photos, camera, microphone, location or health information. Bundled words, levels, artwork and audio work offline. A network connection may be needed only when the platform store loads the full-game offer, processes a purchase or restores a previous purchase.

App Store purchases and Apple services

Apple processes App Store distribution, payments, purchase restoration and any device or iCloud backup under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. Vocabug receives only the store result needed to unlock the purchased content. We do not receive your full payment-card details.

When you contact support

If you voluntarily email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use it only to reply, investigate the issue, prevent abuse and meet applicable legal obligations. Please do not include information that is not needed for your request. Our email provider may process the message to deliver and store it under its own terms.

Deletion and controls

Settings → Reset progress removes local level stars, word-practice history and shown-word history. Some preferences, including selected languages or tutorial status, may remain. Deleting Vocabug removes data from its local app container. Backups must be managed separately through Apple device or iCloud settings. Because this progress is not sent to us, we cannot view, restore or remotely delete it.

Children’s privacy

Vocabug is a general-audience vocabulary puzzle game. The app does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. A parent or guardian may contact us about a support communication.

Security

Keeping game data on the device and avoiding data transmission reduces exposure to remote breaches. Protection of local information also depends on Apple’s security features and your device settings.

Changes to this policy

If Vocabug later adds analytics, advertising, accounts, cloud sync, a backend or another data-transmitting feature, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before that version is released. The revised effective date will appear at the top of this page.
